Surrey Steps Up is an annual showcase of the positive impact youth have on the city. Celebrate the amazing young people who are transforming our schools and communities through good deeds, community projects, creating art and more. Everyone is welcome.
Surrey Steps Up 2022
Our next Surrey Steps Up is scheduled to launch on Friday, March 11. Save the date!
The annual showcase will be on June 3, 2022 at Surrey City Hall.
As a part of the 2022 initiative, Surrey Steps Up is partnering with Equitas to provide five (5) $500 community action project grants to groups who are “stepping up” in Surrey!** APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED
Applications open on Friday, March 11th through the Surrey Schools PSST (Protecting Surrey Schools Together) website www.psst-bc.ca/ssu22 and will remain open until March 29th. Groups will be selected on April 1st, with funds being transferred the following week for use through the month of April and May. All funds must be used by May23rd. Funding can be used to support group goals with the exception of gift card purchases and capital expenses.
The annual 2022 showcase will be held on June 3rd, 2022 at Surrey City Hall. During this showcase, groups who received grants will be able to showcase how they stepped up in their communities and how they utilized the funding.
