Empower Surrey Parent Workshops
Keep Kids Safe From Gangs

Based on the positive responses received from parents last year, the Community Safety Section is hosting another set of FREE Parent Workshops to help keep kids safe from gangs.

The workshops take place from April 19–June 7, 6–8pm at a school near you.

The sessions will provide parents tips and tools to recognize and respond to warning signs for gang involvement as well as build protective factors that minimize their young person’s susceptibility for recruitment. Workshops are supported by Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) BC, Surrey School District 36 and SFU Clinical Counsellors from the Surrey Anti-Gang Family Empowerment (SAFE) Program.
