Bringing Recreation for Youth Outdoors
Join us outdoors this September to connect with positive adult allies, learn about recreation programs and get active together. Drop-in with friends or stop by on your own. Various Recreation Facilities
The majority of drop-in activities no longer require reservations, including drop-in access in the weight room, public swimming and public skating. Want to join a group? Get active with a game of badminton, pickleball or basketball. All skill levels and abilities welcome. Pre-register online or in-person to secure your spot at select recreation facilities.

Guided Nature Walks
September–December | 10–11am | Surrey Nature Centre
Join a Surrey Nature Centre staff member for an in-person guided nature walk twice a month this fall to learn about nature and the diversity of Green Timbers Park. Fall Releaf Tree Planting
Registration Starts September 13
Help grow Surrey’s urban forest by planting trees in your community park. Pre-register for a one-hour planting session at a nearby park. We provide all tools and training. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Plantings take place rain or shine but could be cancelled in high winds.
