Tree Lighting Festival
 
Ruth B. Set to Shine at the Surrey Tree Lighting Festival

Come illuminate City Hall Plaza and light the City’s official Christmas tree at this Surrey favourite festival presented by Coast Capital Savings. Join the fun and learning at the 11th Annual Surrey Kids Conference, a FREE collaborative, creative and inclusive celebration for children including a special bonus day just for preteens ages 9–12. Children will learn everything from how to manage stress and make healthy lifestyle choices, to the fundamentals of breakdancing, volleyball and human rights.

Students with an interest in arts and crafts graduating from a senior secondary school in Surrey are eligible to submit an application formfor the City of Surrey’s $500 Honey Hooser Scholarship. Broad interests may include everything from the study of the visual, graphic, or performing arts, to the development of tools to facilitate these arts.
