It’s finally here, the final five months till graduation. I know what you’re thinking. Time to kick back, relax and take the final five in strides; after all, you’ve worked so hard for the last four and a half years, and you definitely deserve a break. Besides, it’s not like Universities are going to rescind your acceptance if your grades make a little slip.
Reality check: the final five months could be the most important months in your high school career. And yes, any university will not hesitate to yank your acceptance ASAP if your grades are not up to standard.
So don’t fall in the popular trap of enjoying an early summer vacation. Raging house parties and wild camping trips can wait for a couple months. Right now you should be focusing all your energy on keeping up appearances until you walk across that stage.
If your having trouble pulling it all together, try some of these re-energizing tips. Buy some brand new school supplies; nothing is more motivating than fresh pencils and unused binders. Throw out all the things you don’t need, clutter clogs your mind as well as your space. Rocket yourself back to grade six and bust out the flash cards; memorizing French verbs has never been so easy.
So suck it up and make it through the final days of your high school education. It will only make summer vacation seem that much better.
