Last year of elementary school?

Do you see this kid here? Scared to death isn't she? I suppose all of us feel like that at times, but one big step of our life is high school. We will be going from the top of the food chain to the bottom. We don't even begin to think about what high school could be like! Some of us are excited! Some are upset and scared. Most of us are probably a mix of the two. It will be a rollercoaster all right! Some of us might just want to get off. Others will stick around to experience the ups and downs of a very important milestone in our life. But we should make the best of our last year in elemantary school or middle school. Just think of it this way. Going to high school means we are growing up. The teachers there will probably treat us more like adults then elementary school teachers. And that's not always a good thing. But we have gotta face it we are getting older and most of us are  mature enough to handle more responsibility than when we were 12 or something. And another good thought is our parents will  give us a bit more freedom, now that we're growing up they  treat us like the young adults we are. And again that might not always be a good thing. So instead of thinking "I don't want to go" or "I'm scared" buckle up your seatbelts and be prepared for the scariest but best ride of your life.

It's a rollercoaster alright!
