Admit it. Quizzes suck. Quizzing leads to testing, which leads to studying, which eventually leads to (insert shudder here)...learning.

Not too long ago I was looking for an alternative way to take a break from all this EDUCATION (honestly, we all need to take some time to ourselves, even if it’s just for ten minutes), and you can imagine my surprise when I discovered a simple website that allowed me to get away from my studying by doing....more quizzes.

However, unlike answering questions based on quantum mechanics or the quadratic formula, "How many Academy Awards did Titanic win?" and " What year was Cleopatra born?" acted as replacements for such drab material.

Indeed, I found that funtrivia.com has thousands of enjoyable questionnaires based on...well, practically anything! From celebrities to movies to ancient history to geography, this site has it all. Unlike other pages, funtrivia is monitored and all quizzes are proofed before being officially submitted, and fellow users are allowed to edit one another’s information, ensuring accuracy to the fullest extent.

Levels of difficulty range from "Easy" to "Impossible", and while navigation can sometimes be tedious, every quiz is both simple and often times quick to complete. Although in the past tests have not been as eye catching as they could have been, recently a "Flash" version of every work has become available for guests, thus not only improving upon the speed of the games, but the interaction as well.

So if you’re looking to take some time out of your day to keep you from going ballistic with overloads of homework and studying to do, visit www.funtrivia.com and escape from reality - even if it’s just for ten minutes.
