It was one simple question that started it all: “What are you doing?”

Jack Dorsey, the creator of Twitter.com, has turned this simple question into a worldwide online sensation. It is the simple concept of wanting to know what others are up to that is making this website so popular; basically, it is a social network based solely on “Facebook status updates.” Attracting millions of people, from Perez Hilton to John Mayer to American President, Barack Obama, it is no doubt that almost everyone these days are “twittering”.

Lately, a trend to contribute to the preservation of our beautiful planet has taken over our way of life. People are changing their lifestyles to the "greener" side. "I am NOT a plastic bag" totes can be seen almost everywhere now and graphic t-shirts promoting to "save our mother earth" are in style. Even celebrities have been getting in on the action; pictures of Hayden Panettiere can be seen all over the media whether she's "saving the whales" or just simply using reusable shopping bags on supermarket trips.

Admit it. Quizzes suck. Quizzing leads to testing, which leads to studying, which eventually leads to (insert shudder here)...learning.

Not too long ago I was looking for an alternative way to take a break from all this EDUCATION (honestly, we all need to take some time to ourselves, even if it’s just for ten minutes), and you can imagine my surprise when I discovered a simple website that allowed me to get away from my studying by doing....more quizzes.

Facebook is the new sensation that is invading teenager’s computers across the continent. For any of you who don’t know, although I am sure you all do, Facebook is a “Social Networking” website that enables you to keep in contact with your friends. It seems that everybody, young and old, is hooked up in this social web. The popularity of the site is unparalleled; not even seen in similar sites such as MySpace or Nexopia.
