Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach Zarathustra
Xenosaga is a 3-part series that links together an ever progressing story line and is a sci-fi RPG (role playing game). Xenosaga was created by the team, Monolith Software. For those of you who haven't played the previous series (Xenosaga I & II), the game was made, such that new players could easily learn the game and have fun doing so.
The continued story of the series in Xenosaga III is this: Shion (the protagonist), after leaving Vector Industries, encounters moments in her past that reveal, for the most of it, the answer to all your questions form the previous series, including the spiritual understanding of what "God" is, and the one who's been 'pulling all the strings' in all three episodes. Players of the previous installments can expect to have all of their questions answered in III, but will get even more questions to ponder upon.
In Xenosaga III, several changes have been made to make gameplay better than the previous series. along with problems that occurred or hindered gameplay. Compared to most other RPG games, this game does not have the best graphics a game could offer. But instead, offers a great tragic and adventurous story line that will keep the player wanting for more. And with music and cinematics, it further propels the storyline to its fullest!
Although Xenosaga III, isn't one to compete with some of the other games on the market, it is definitely one to be considered. So if you're someone who enjoys a good plot more than anything else, then this game is for you. But I still encourage others to try out this game. Be it renting or actually buying the game, I guarantee you'll get at least some enjoyment out of Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach Zarathustra.
