In a time when the popularity of albums is steadily dropping and the industry is dominated mostly be flash in the pan acts, it's nice to know that there's a band like Radiohead. Every Radiohead album is something of an event in the music world, not only because of the bands high standard of quality, but because of their wilingness to constantly reinvent themselves.

Stuck in between the forward-thinking balladry of Today and the lush brilliance of Pet Sounds, Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!) tends to slip through the cracks of The Beach Boys' discography.  At first glance, it makes sense; Summer Days is not nearly as revolutionary as the two albums that it's sandwiched between (barring one of two more intricate moments that Brian Wilson managed to sneak past the record label).

In 2002, California rock quartet Weezer undertook a rather interesting experiment with the recording of their fourth album. They posted it as it was recorded, giving demos out to the fans through their website and asking for advice. A novel idea, and one should, theoretically, provide some great results. After all, who knows the music better then the fans?

This link goes to the song Waving Flag by many young artists. It was originally by K'naan but the world has recognized it and it is now the song that is supporting Haiti, the place affected by the horrific earthquake.

Known mostly for their hit “Tonight, I Love You”, a song that gained a tonne of radio play as well as the number one spot on the Daily Ten on Much On Demand for awhile, as well as their newest single “Kids“, the Latency have created an awesome first full-length album. It’s packed with great vocals and amazing riffs. There are songs like “Can You Hear Me Call?”, “How’s It Feel”, “Kids” and “Hello” that you can blast and sing-along to at the top of your lungs. Then songs like “Don’t Go” and “Fork In The Road” that are just beautiful.

Colbie Caillat's new album is a breath of fresh air from all the music artists have been putting out recently. She brings back the bubbly, sunshiny mood she had with her first album. Her songs have great lyrics, fun rhythms, and an amazing tone. You can definitely call her music “feel good music”. Her style has been compared to her good friend Jason Mraz. Both artists make music that you picture yourself listening to at the beach or in the car on a sunny day. Despite their amateur and fun appearance, some of her songs have really deep and meaningful undertones.

Although many people are surprised by this, Weezer pre-Beverly Hills was actually a very respected group. After releasing two cult hits in the 90's before going on hiatus, Weezer were poised to make a critical and commercial comeback with their third disc, a self-titled release known by fans as The Green Album. When it finally hit the scene, Green was a commercial success, but received rather lukewarm reception from fans and critics alike. Looking back on it, though, was the reaction towards The Green Album justified, or a simple response to near-insurmountable hype?
