The whole movie is about a basketball team, the Tropics, from Flint, Michigan trying to achieve their NBA dreams with the leadership of their coach, Jackie Moon (Will Ferrell) and their offence and defense coordinator, Monix (Woody Harrelson).

I walked into the theatre with a bunch of friends hoping to get some laughs out of the movie. However, the movie really disappointed me. Usually Will Ferrell delivers laughs to the audience pretty well but not this time.

In the movie, he is the coach and promoter of the team. So he comes up with these crazy ideas to attract people's attention. He tries to be funny but the jokes are just horrible. On the other hand, Will Arnett, who plays as a sports announcer for the team, did a really good job and got most of the laughs out of me. At some parts, it was very touching yet cheesy.

Overall, I am not satisfied with the movie so I give it 1 star out of 5.
