How to write a poem

Writing a poem is harder than it looks
It involves some skill, some talent
or maybe it doesn't
who
am I to know?
Try writing a story, a sad story,
a happy one
Center it and change it to a
lyrical prose
Then poof
You have a
poem
Now you have to title it
think of something
unique
interesting
wow
or, if you like,
you would just call it something completly
unrelated
it adds
drama
mystery
to your
poem
change the lengths of the sentences
long and flowing and wondeful
short
choppy
then change your writing
normal
italics
underlined
or even a mix
Then sign it with your name
your initials
a sign
something
rememeber that the ending is
crucial
it draws everything together
zipping it up like a
zipper
zip
time to zip it up
start slowly
wind it down
and
then
let
it
trail
off
into
the
distance
