The crowds gathered and people pushed and shoved,

Just to see one used car salesman, an orphan whom no one loved,

And a lady of nobility.

Is this who the contestants would be?

A man spoke as he stepped from the mob,

“People I have made this my job,

I must find the most beautiful thing in the world.”

The lady said, “There’s a prize I am told.”

“Of course, of course, but it depends. Do you have the most beautiful thing?”

Each day i see you,

A beautiful light i see,

A special light coming toward me.

Every day i try to tell you,

But i just can't say it that, i love you.

I've tried to tell you that i love you

But i just can't handle it

Because you're not right for me

     I just can't say it

Enough! Now enough!
Smile! Speak to me!

You inhabit my heart.
What is the use of running away?
Using magic you keep pulling me toward you,
Who are you running to now?
Enough! Now enough!

You do not tire of killing the already-slain.
You play with me, a ball thrown over and over again at a stump.
If I speak, you gag me,
You might as well just pierce the arrow right into me!
Enough! Now enough!

If you hide, I will catch you.
I will tie you in my tresses.
You are able to stay hidden for now,

Destiny

You think you control my life

You think you’ve planned it all out

You hope to make me achieve

The things that you dream

Well, it’s time to wake up

Cause really you’re nothing

I don’t need your thorns in my side

Nor your poison in my head

I’ve had enough of your chains

And now I’ll pull away

I don’t need you whipping my back

Forcing me in any way

I’ll wear my own shoes

And walk where I choose

Rose are black
Violets are violence
I'll tie you up to the rack
And gag you with my silence.

The squirrel dwelled suffering amid the rotting stump for months

Stomach empty he searched fastidiously beneath towering trunks

Blear-eyed and beaten he searched for a new abode days without sleep

Until one misty morning, when the morning mud melted moist and deep

Slowly through sparkling dew-covered grass he carefully did creep

The squirrel came finally to a glimmering grassy clearing,

When suddenly up in the sky flashed haunting eyes so jeering

He stopped and gazed upwards amazed at the resplendence

Don't let me fall, don't.
Won't let you go, won't.
Love you forever and always, love.
You and I go well together, you.

How do you suppose I'll go on, how.
Should I always think I was wrong, should?
I don't believe this is happening, I.
Trust in you was gone long ago, trust.

What would it mean,
if I told you what I've seen.
Nothing in my life's gone right,
my mother's seen the light.

Trackmarks in the night,
with no help in sight.
Flashing images torn apart,
picture-perfect dirty art.

Shot of adrenaline to the heart,
"thank god, I thought it'd never start."
Who's to blame for this mess?
"Don't know. Me, I guess."

The memory woven into heart strings

Raw and painful

The two syllables of his name

Explosive in my ears

Brightly colored slideshows-white hot

Blinded perception, crossing reality

The forced truth burdens

Empty hands with nothing to grasp

Eyes penetrating my memory

The corruption of adoration

I catch his faint scent

Breathe in the familiar loss

The new love encapsulates me

Warming with all its fresh desire
