Screaming Within

He drags her in and all she feels
is the cold wet floor.
She can't see him anymore
and suddenly she feels his touch,
a hand goes up her dress.

She can't move, he's on top of her.
He's telling her to hush her screams,
laughing at her vanished voice.
Her body's stone cold as he
strips her of her dignity.

He says, it's hard to love you,
when you're screaming like this.
She screams some more, but
can he hear the screams within?

When he's done his dirty deed
he looks at her, and she can see,
there's not a bit of guilt in his eyes.
He walks away from her stricken body,
leaves her alone to drown in her tears.
