I made this image after a failed attempt at drawing a comet. I used Paint.NET, a program like Photoshop. It took me a while to make, and is one of my favorite creations.

I sat on my bed, sitting through that wretched screaming that happens every once in a while. Arguing over the most stupidest things ever. I hold back the tears, they won't do any good.

My mom walks in, she stares at me, takes in my expression and says, "How are you? Dinner's ready." Like nothing's happened. Because it hasn't.

What I heard are the ghosts of my dead grandparents who are tied to this earth, and everyday they fight over stupid things. I sit through it.

I took this picture in Maui, Hawaii.

On our travels we stopped at the Maui Ocean Center, where I located a large pool. It was deep, and wide, and appeared to be empty. However, being myself, I couldn't just let it go. It couldn't have been empty.

I found a staircase nearby, and ran down it. I came to a large room, with glass walls. I peered through, searching, my camera poised. I turned, spun, trying to catch a glimpse of the beautiful animals this big tank must hold.

A tornado descends from the sky,

Whirling like a dream from the heavens.

A light in the distance drifts

And you realize you're about to die.

So with one last breath,

One last wish,

One last act of forgiveness,

You let yourself go.

Becoming one with the Earth,

Leaving your body to chase your soul

To a place unlike any other,

A place where you belong,

Everything falls together,

And you realize it was worth being strong.

The ocean is the sum of all my tears

And the desert resembles my perched up heart

The sun is but the fire contained in me

And my quiet is a mere column of dust

My heart is like a sea

The calendar wasn’t vital,

It wasn’t a title

He was in charge of;

This was a labor of love.

A boy who would play house, putting on my dad’s clothes,
To make me happy should be worth note.
I told you we were best friends forever,
You believed me, smiling genuinely and I noticed that freckle on your nose.

Writing a poem is harder than it looks

It involves some skill, some talent

or maybe it doesn't

who

am I to know?

Try writing a story, a sad story,

a happy one

Center it and change it to a

lyrical prose

Then poof

You have a

poem

You suck, I hate you.

We’re through and done.

If only you’d stopped your lies,

Long enough to open your eyes and realize

I’ve been here all along,

But now I’m going to be gone like

Bananas part from coconut trees,

You’ll become a stranger

Parted from me. And I really

Should thank thee for making me chase thee

Because if you didn’t always leave

I wouldn’t be me and I wouldn’t

Be forgiving of what you did and said.

The wind rustled through the trees, and leaves whipped past me. As I watched them struggle through the air, I felt something. A presence. Nearby. I turned slowly, peering around the small, wooden area. The trees stared back, hard and cold.

"Hello?" I called out, my voice whipped away by the wind. "Anybody there?"

"Child." I heard a long, low voice seep out from a crack in the bark of a nearby tree. I swallowed and walked out. I carefully rounded the trees.

Report It! You're not alone. There are always many different ways to cope with problems. We're here to listen.
